Are your products gluten-free?
They are gluten free but they are manufactured on shared equipment that processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, soy and wheat. 
Do you use preservatives in your products?
No.
Are your products Kosher certified?
Happy Goat uses 100% all-natural grade ‘A’ quality goat milk that is Kosher certified. All of our other ingredients are Kosher certified, but our finished products are not Kosher certified. 
Are your products cow dairy-free?
Yes! Naturally lower in fat than cow milk, goat milk also contains less lactose making it easier to digest. The protein and fat structures in goat milk are much simpler and smaller than those in cow milk. In fact, goat milk is the food closest in nature to mother’s milk! Those who are allergic to cow milk may be able to tolerate goat milk more easily (the Casein responsible for most cow milk allergies is present in greatly reduced quantities), and asthmatics may be spared the respiratory discomfort that often accompanies cow milk.
What makes your goats “Happy”?
Our milk comes from free-range goats raised on small California farms that do not use sprays, insecticides, or pesticides. These goats grow up healthy on a diet of grass, clover, alfalfa, legume hay, water, and salt. They are never fed anything genetically modified or containing animal by-products. They are provided with shelter from the elements and a wide area to roam, and are never separated from their mother’s at birth. Needless to say, happy goats make great caramels!
How many caramels are in a package?
Our 4 oz. package contains approximately 14-15 individually wrapped caramels.
Our 2 oz. package contains approximately 7 individually wrapped caramels. 
What do I do with this caramel sauce?
Your only limitation is your own imagination! We’ve heard from customers all over that they are finding new and unique ways to use our luscious caramel sauces. From adding it to your morning coffee, hot apple cider, wheat toast with sliced bananas, baked in cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, quick breads, drizzled over baked brie, sautéed with sliced carrots, parsnips or beets, over vanilla ice cream or the most popular of uses: with a spoon straight out of the jar! One thing is for sure, it won’t last long! 
How should I store my caramels and sauces?
Caramels: Store in a cool, dry location. 
Sauces: Refrigerate after opening, separation may occur and is normal, stir or shake before use, will not separate again after refrigeration. 
Where are your products made?
All of our products are made in California.
Are your products all-natural?
Yes! 
Do any of your products contain soy lecithin?
Our caramel sauces do contain some soy lecithin as an emulsifier (less than 1%). For more information about this common ingredient, we recommend this link. 
Can I rush an order?
Please contact us directly sales@happygoatcaramel.com. We will work with you and try to accommodate your request!
Do you ship internationally?
No. Currently we can only accept orders shipping within the United States. Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via USPS.
What shipping method do you use?
We use UPS Ground on most orders. Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via USPS. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes or APOs.
Can I fax my order to you or send it via e-mail?
Of course! We try to make the ordering process as simple as possible. If you feel more comfortable faxing or e-mailing an order, you can send all order information to (415) 762-5282 (fax) or sales@happygoatcaramel.com Upon receiving your fax or email, we will then contact you to gather your payment information. Please DO NOT send your credit card information via email.
Be sure to include: 1) Your billing address and contact information 2) The product(s) you wish to send and the recipient's name and address 3) Gift messages(s) of 20-25 words.
What if I need to change or cancel my order?
Please call us at (650) 276-8113 and we will do our best to assist you.
Note: Your order cannot be changed or cancelled once it has been packed for shipping.
Can you bill my company for corporate orders?
Sure! Just call between 10 AM-5 PM PST Monday through Thursday to speak with us about setting up a company account.
Can I place a wholesale order for my retail store?

I had a gift that I do not see on your website anymore. Where did it go?
We have seasonal collections that are available only during specific months due to the seasonal ingredients we use. Check back frequently for new collections!
What type of payments do you accept for online orders?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover cards.
